5 meter Serial Cable for Nexstar





A PC cable to connect your computer to your Celestron Nexstar handset. Type similar to Celestron part number #93920. One end plugs into the bottom of your Nexstar handset and the other into the 9 way serial port on your Laptop/PC.

These cables can be used to:-

Control your telescope via laptop/PC with a planetarium program with the ASCOM drivers/plug-in installed, or other suitable software.

Upgrade the firmware on the FLASH version of the Nexstar handset or if the handset version is V4.13 or higher the Motor controller firmware.The upgrading software can be downloaded from the Celestron website.

Autoguide via PHD with ASCOM drivers/Plug-ins installed.

All cables have been tested on a Celestron Nexstar handset attached to an Advanced CG5-GT mount.No software is supplied with these cables.
